The Location
The house is conveniently located at the bottom of Elliot Pathway, just a few minutes walk from the students union. It is also a few minutes walk from Canterbury West station and a little further to the town centre.
Costs and money
The house is available for a group of students, for one year starting on 1st July 2016. The rent is £360 per week for the whole house equivalent to £390 per month per person. It is payable quarterly. Half rent is payable in July and August if unoccupied.
The deposit is 1 months rental payable on 1st July. A holding fee of £150 is payable on the agreement to rent, but this is repaid on receipt of the first quarters rent on 1st July.
Utility bills (except broadband) are payable by the tenants.
A guarantor form is required.
Overseas students need to pay the year's rent in advance.
Certification
The house is accredited by Canterbury City Council and the University. It has current gas, electric and energy certificates. Deposits are held by the Tenancy Deposit Scheme.
